A 15 year old African boy made a generator out of garbage.
Its no joke, this young man’s innovative light shined through the poverty he grew up in despite many challenges. Instead of complaining about the problem he invented solutions.
Growing up in Sierra Leone, Africa, young Kelvin Doe AKA (DJ Man Focus) said that there was hardly any electricity in his community. He highlighted that electricity only came one day per week and his community had to survive with very little resources. This didn’t stop the youngster who was apparently born with an innovative talent.
He decided to take matters into his own hands in order to provide for his family and community members, he decided to create batteries and other gadgets. Kelvin’s heartless creativity is what landed him an amazing opportunity to visit (MIT) Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States back in 2012. The rest is history.
After watching his amazing journey one could only think about all the luxuries we take for granted, luckily this youngster was discovered and could now afford to take his engineering to the next level.
