My interpretation of this track is a guy who is in need of comfort and love. He reluctantly finds it in the form of a one night stand and now he doesn’t want his partner to go. A typical one night stand usually leaves but, he would like his partner to spend more time with him.
He knows it’s not a relationship but, he is so emotional that he wants to feel that one moment of love and tenderness from his partner at that time. He wants to feel loved and give love despite the fact that there is none present.
He is aware of what a one night stand is but is more a relationship type of guy and it kills him that he is sleeping around with a partner who is not his own. He knows what he is involved in but its messing with him because he knows there can’t be any relationship or love.
In conclusion he is fighting himself to have the one night stand because he is a relationship type of guy and these things are both new and hard for him to do.

The track was produced by Niko Browne for Lifeline Music.
